What is Relationship Recovery Process (RRP)?

Therapy should have a process that works.

The Relationship Recovery Process (RRP) model is a transformative approach to inner child work created by Amanda Curtin, LICSW, and Patrick Teahan, LICSW. This powerful framework is designed specifically for adults seeking to heal the wounds of growing up in dysfunctional families.

The RRP model effectively bridges the gap between two crucial aspects of your identity: the Adult, who embodies your present-day awareness, and the Inner Child, holding the emotional memories of your past. Through engaging guided exercises, deep reflection, and supportive group processes, participants embark on a journey to reparent their wounded inner child.

This process not only helps you resolve lingering emotional issues from your family of origin but also empowers you to reclaim healthy intimacy and connection in your current relationships.

If you’re interested, fill out an application form. I’ll contact you for a free of charge interview call where we can discuss whether this is right for you or not!

Recovery from childhood trauma is a lifelong process that can feel brutally difficult when we’re doing it alone. We need a group and a process that designed for the specific challenges of recovery from growing up in abuse and neglect.
